Make Your Self-Storage Simple

Leave a walkway to the rear of the unit for better accessibility
Disassemble items such as bed frames to maximize the space
Place frequently used items near the door
Fill containers to capacity - partially full or bulging cartons may tip or collapse
Pack heavy items like books or tools in smaller boxes
Fragile items should be cushioned by packing and placing toward the top of the unit - bubble wrap available in our office
Label your cartons and take home a list of the labeled cartons for easy reference - labels and packing hints available in our office
Line the bottom of your unit with a plastic drop cloth for added protection
Use wood slats or pallets, available in our office, as a foundation on which to place furniture or boxes
Moth balls are an added protection for your belongings
Take full advantage of your space - use the full height if possible, shelving helps organize your space
Bay leaves are said to ward off most insects and household pests - add to boxes when packing goods
Plastic trash bags make an excellent box liner to protect contents from dust and moisture
